SERVICE PROJECTS

One of the things that we pride ourselves in as Beachboyz, is our commitment to provide meaningful service projects through the school calendar year ... every year. We believe that our young men will learn the invaluable lessons of service, by putting others ahead of their own interests. Willfully giving of ones time and energy to benefit others builds individual character and whether they realize it or not, brings happiness into their own lives. It also helps fulfill their graduation requirement to earn 40 hours of community service, through 4 years of high school.

2022 FALL SERVICE PROJECT

Seattle, WA - It's that time of year where we really look forward to giving back to our community. The 8th annual Turkey Bowl week is a collaboration of local business entities, several charitable organizations, and high school football teams from the area ... namely Franklin, Renton and yours truly Rainier Beach. The boys spent their time making sack lunches to handout to needy/homeless individuals in the surrounding area.

The boys will do one more project at the Rainier Valley Food Bank, collecting and distributing non-perishable food and canned goods to less fortunate individuals and families from around the local Rainier Beach area.

The boys will participate in the annual Youth Turkey Bowl game, a goodwill flag football game between our Beachboyz and the Renton Redhawks.
